Warranty information

Return policy for unopened products may be returned with in 30 days for a refund less shipping.

Opened products, in NEW unused condition, may be returned within 30 days, however the customer must pay for return shipping.

Used or misused products may not be returned for refunds and may be returned for repair only.  Customers will be charged for return shipping and damages caused by users ability or inability to use product according to instructions.

Defective product may be returned for repair or replacement, at the sole discretion of Commercial Products, within 1 year of purchase.  Customer must pay return shipping and Commercial Products will return freight  prepaid.

NOTE: Shipping damages are the responsibility of the shipping company and must be noted within 24 hours in order to file a claim.  Shipping damage claims do not constitute warranty and the time to file is extremely limited for them to be honored. In the unlikely event of experiencing a shipping damage claim, note any box damages on the drivers delivery receipt unless the product is visibly damaged in which case we recommend refusing delivery.  Please contact us immediately so that we may initiate a freight damage claim.

TruckFridge, warrants all Truckfridge built-in and portable model refrigerators (hereafter referred to as TruckFridge) to be free of defects in material and workmanship under design usage and service conditions for (2) one year on parts and labor from the original date of purchase on built-in models and (1) year on portable refrigerator models. Replacement parts are covered for the remainder of the TruckFridge warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage or failure of the TruckFridge or the vehicle and/or enclosure into which it was installed due to improper installation, assembly, maintenance, abuse, neglect, accident, or use of part(s) not supplied by TruckFridge.

Parts: Coverage for warrantable parts, at the discretion of TruckFridge, will be made to the claimant in the form of repair, replacement or credit.

Labor: All labor costs associated with the repair or replacement of the TruckFridge will be covered by TruckFridge. TruckFridge and/or parts which are returned as defective, but which are found to meet the specifications agreed upon, shall be subject to a retesting charge and customer will be responsible for all return shipping and handling costs.

The warranties set forth herein are the sole warranties made by TruckFridge in regard to the TruckFridge. TruckFridge makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Re-stocking Fees: 

Restocking charge will be 6% on unopened orders to cover processing and card issuers charges.

Restocking charge is a minimum of 10% on opened units to cover processing, card issuers charges, inspection and repackaging.

Refund is price charged on original invoice less restocking fee and shipping.

Items covered under this warranty

  1. All TruckFridge models including condenser, compressor, electrical components, trim and plastic parts.
  2. TruckFridge supplied accessories.

Items not covered under this warranty

  1. TruckFridge no longer within the warranty period.
  2. Installation errors or failure arising as the consequence of installation errors.
  3. Any progressive damage to the vehicle arising out of the failure of the TruckFridge.
  4. TruckFridge which have been modified or use of non-standard parts not approved by TruckFridge.
  5. TruckFridge that have been abused or damaged.
  6. Diagnosis or repairs when caused by problems not directly related to the TruckFridge or due to power related problems.
  7. TruckFridge performance, run-times or duty cycles.

Owner is responsible for the cost of all repairs made to the equipment in which the TruckFridge is installed. Owner is responsible for all accommodations, meals, “down-time” expenses, business costs and losses and incidental costs incurred by the Owner as a result of a warrantable failure.

TRUCKFRIDGE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Authorization is required before any TruckFridge can be returned for service and/or replacement. Proof of purchase is required. Please call (502) 863-0373 or email info@truckfridge.com to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Ensure that the RMA number is clearly indicated on the return package.
